LIGHTING PROGRAMMING
The role of a Lighting Programmer is crucial in ensuring that the artistic vision of the Lighting Designer (LD) is successfully translated into a visually stunning reality. As a Lighting Programmer, my primary responsibility will revolve around designing, implementing, and maintaining lighting systems to make your show stand.
To ensure your show is a success, you cant expect me to:
Collaborate with the lighting team to develop lighting solutions that enhance the overall visual experience
Program and integrate various lighting effects and systems into our projects.
Troubleshoot and debug lighting issues to ensure optimal performance.
Optimize lighting systems for performance and memory usage.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in lighting technology.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a smooth workflow.
PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT
The Production Manager oversees all aspects related to the live performance, starting from when the trucks arrive at the venue until they depart. Every activity on or near the stage, including equipment, crew, and the Artist, falls under the responsibility of the PM.
To guarantee the success of all events, I will provide support at every stage of:
Planning and coordinating audiovisual projects while setting clear timelines
Leading and managing technical teams, including sound engineers, lighting technicians, video producers, and local labor
Engaging with clients to understand their needs, providing effective communication and ensuring their vision is realized
Tackling challenges with a problem-solving mindset, adapting to unforeseen circumstances during live productions
Upholding high-quality standards in all aspects of production, from setup to execution
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations in all production activities.
Managing the production budget, negotiating with suppliers and controlling costs.
